If you're in the market for a hybrid SUV, Ford offers a 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson cycle engine that teams up with an electric motor to put out 165 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
No matter which engine you go with, you can depend on your Escape to provide superior performance. Ford equips EcoBoost models with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the hybrid powertrain gets an electronically controlled variable transmission.
