If there’s anything better than being behind the wheel of your powerful Ford F-250, it’s being behind the wheel with a great cup of coffee in your hands. You know what chain place coffee is like: visit one of these independent coffee shops for the best cups of Joe by people who are passionate about the brew.

3 Great Coffee Shops Just Down the Road Near Cudahy, WI

Avenue Coffeehouse

Located at 911 Milwaukee Ave, this spot claims to have the best coffee in South Milwaukee, and it’s just possible they do. They open at 7 am Monday through Friday and at 8 am on Saturday and Sunday. The vibe here is “comfy nerd,” and the prices and service are very good. They also make homemade donuts, so be sure to try one of those while you’re there.

You can get your coffee blended with butter or MCT oil if you’re into “bulletproof.” They do a great latte and regular espresso drinks, but they also have specials you’ll want to try. The Vanilla Bee latte is very good, with honey and cinnamon, and the Butterbeer latte is a tribute to the Harry Potter genre. We also love their Peanut Butter cup latte, which has white chocolate, hazelnut, and Reese’s peanut butter added.

La Finca Coffeehouse

At 3558 E Sivyer Ave, La Finca opens at 7am on Tuesday through Saturday and at 8 am on Sunday. They have a great atmosphere, unique, Mexican-themed coffee drinks, and delicious food. You’ll also enjoy spending time here. It’s just a nice place to hang out. One of our favorite things about this spot is the super-cool mugs they serve the coffee in: every one looks like it was hand-thrown in Mexico.

Try their Mexican mocha, the marzipan latte, and the fresas con crema latte. They also have a chocolate cream oaxaca cold brew, and the limonada brasilena is great, with lime, lemon, condensed milk, mint, and sugar. If you’re hanging out for a while, we recommend their breakfast tacos, the grilled peaches and goat cheese salad, and cucumber dill chicken salad sandwich.

Sprocket Cafe

At 3385 S Kinnickinnic Ave, you’ll find the Sprocket Cafe, which is open from 8 am every day but Monday. They have great staff, a nice atmosphere for hanging out in, delicious coffee drinks, donuts, and a lot more. Their bagels are also well worth the stop. The vibe here is quirky and fun.

We recommend that you try any of their bagel sandwiches, especially made on the jalapeno and cheddar bagels. Their fresh donuts are delicious, and they offer deli sandwiches like The Trike, which is chicken with chipotle cheddar, chipotle aioli, and toasted ciabatta bread. All their espresso drinks are great, and they can make any hot drink an iced one using coffee ice cubes, so you never have to worry about watered-down drinks. Try their chai latte, too!

Nothing gets you powered up in the morning like good coffee, and nothing gets us powered up like getting under the hood of a great Ford and keeping it running smooth as silk. Come see us at Ewald’s Venus Ford for great service or to find your new Ford!
